Imagine Dragons with Discourse May 1st @ In The Venue

Discourse is officially competing in The Tournament of Champions March 24th

The Basement is hosting their annual Tournament of Champions! This large scale competition showcases the best bands in the Northern Utah area and we are excited to finally be able to compete, 3 years after it's birth.

Here's how it works.  

There is a total of three rounds. 

Round 1 - "Regionals"    -Here the bands will be narrowed down from 24 to a solid 12.

Round 2 - "Sectionals"   -Here the bands will be cut down to the final 4.

Round 3 - "Finals"   -This is where the top 4 bands will compete for the title of Champion!

Bands will be judged on the following criteria:

1 – Musicianship – 20%
(Determined by judges’ scoring)
 

2 – Stage Presence, Appearance, and Personality – 20%
(Determined by judges’ scoring)

3 – Originality & Songwriting – 20%
(Determined by judges’ scoring)

4 – Crowd Response – 20%
(Determined by judges’ scoring)

5 – Marketing – 20%
(Determined by crowd vote – each person in the crowd will be allowed to vote for who they like the best.  However, each person in the crowd can vote for as many of the bands as they’d like.)

So be sure to come out and show your support as we climb our way to the top to be crowned the Champion!!
